Welcome!

We are so excited to get together with all of you!

PUSH YOUR LIMITS
July 9th Thru July 13th

Get ready for the perfect mix of team bonding, personal growth, and reenergizing by attending our annual company retreat that is fun-filled, educational, and social! We are beyond thrilled that you chose to join us this year for our 25th visit to La Porte, California, at the Union Hotel. We started this retreat as a thank you to a small team that had conducted a due diligence in 2000 and since spread our token of appreciation to all property managers, lead maintenance, and regionals. We value and appreciate all you do at your property and realize how busy your day to day can be, so taking the time away from work and family means a lot to us.

We immediately ran with the theme this year and thought how it just seems to fit! We all need to push our limits. If we don’t, then we will never know what we can truly conquer. You will uncover skills and passions you didn’t know existed when you press yourself. We encourage you to Push Your Limits!
All of us at RCMI continue to grow and push our limits! From hotels to storage units to boutique office space, and soon to be boat slips, we are more than just apartment homes. As long as we keep pushing our limits, we will continue to grow as a team and as a company. We will learn more and always be ready to take on the next challenge. We are consistently on the cutting edge of new software and the supplier partners rely on us to test their new products because of our talented teams.

Speaking of supplier partners, once again, they came through raising the bar on the sponsorships. You will hear me talk about these vendors throughout the retreat because without them the retreat would not be the same! We invited the Diamond sponsors to join us either Thursday or Friday afternoon so they can take part in our activities with us.

When you arrive on Wednesday, we will assist you with settling in before gathering for our Cocktail Reception and Opening Remarks. Our annual pasta dinner will be served followed by a relaxing evening and time to catch up with your fellow co-workers. On Thursday morning, you will smell the bacon and coffee coming from the kitchen so don’t be late for breakfast! Our first General Meeting will be followed by a Day on the Lake. Once back at the hotel, dress in your red, white, and blue so we can get a quick group photo. You will enjoy a nice steak dinner before gambling and trying to stack up the cash for our top prize winners. Speaking of cash, we will be giving away money every day! Next up is Friday morning, again with the kitchen getting hot with bacon, waffles, and eggs! After a morning of meetings followed by an afternoon of team play, get ready for theme night! Friday night will be blast……literally a blast off into space…..well, not literally, but we can pretend. Dress up in your Space or Out of this World outfit and win $500. I knew that would get your attention. And then comes Saturday, a day to relax and slow down. Enjoy some ice cream from Rich’s Ice Cream truck before a game or two of Bingo. Sunday will be an early morning, and I will make sure you have plenty of coffee and energy drinks to help you start moving!
During the retreat we will have plenty to eat and drink. You will be asked to join a cooking team. This may include cooking, waitstaff, and / or clean-up. Also, you will be assigned a task during the week so make sure you review the posts in the hallway or on the website.

I will arrive in La Porte on Tuesday afternoon, feel free to call me on my cell or at the hotel if you need anything or contact your Regional Supervisor.
I look forward to seeing all of you in La Porte. If you have any questions regarding the above information, please contact me. Safe Travels! See you soon!!

All my best,
Ginger
