Celebrating 40 Years!
FOUR DECADES | ONE LEGACY

We are so excited that you have chosen to celebrate FOUR DECADES | ONE LEGACY with us in La Porte, California at our 24th Annual Management Retreat. Every year we try to outdo the previous years and once again, I think we will surprise you with this year’s big event! As a reminder, this retreat is a special thank you to the management team including property managers, lead maintenance, and regional supervisors. We value and appreciate all you do at your property and realize how busy your day to day can be. You taking the time away from family and work means a lot to us. We always strive to provide a retreat that is relaxing, yet also gives you time with co-workers to share tips and tools that will cultivate and lead your team to their peak performance.

RCMI – Reliable, Caring, Motivating, and Innovative!

RCMI is proud to celebrate forty years of serving residents and providing over ten thousand homes in four states. Forty years of building a company culture that is recognized and respected in the industry. Forty years of growing and maintaining assets for our owners. Forty years of building and fostering relationships with vendors. Forty years weathering so many storms and celebrating so many victories. Forty years of cultivating a team that excels in the apartment industry and values their relationship with RCMI, owners, and residents. YOU are RCMI! #RCMILegacy

Let’s Celebrate!

Most of you have been with us on this journey for many years and we commend you for taking ownership and pride in all aspects related to your job. One of those is your relationship with your supplier partners. Our supplier partners are a huge part of our success. We wanted to thank them this year for their contributions by inviting them to our retreat on Saturday. We had thirteen vendors participate at our Diamond level sponsorship so you will see a few of them at our Carnival Extravaganza! You heard that right, we are having a carnival!! Who will be the first to get in the dunk tank? From axe throwing to human foosball and tag arena to cotton candy, popcorn, hotdogs, and ice cream, we have thought of it all to celebrate our last day and our 40th Anniversary!

What else to expect on this retreat? When you arrive on Wednesday, we will assist you with settling in before gathering for our Cocktail Reception and Opening Remarks. Our annual pasta dinner will be served followed by music and time to catch up with your fellow co-workers. On Thursday morning you will rise and shine early for our General Meeting then head to the lake for an afternoon of sun and fun. Hurry back and get dressed in your Red, White, or Blue for a group photo followed by our annual steak dinner and Casino Night ~ gamble big and you could win big! Friday morning after breakfast we will have a couple more meetings before enjoying the afternoon relaxing – nap, sight see, go back to the lake, play horseshoes or corn hole. You will have plenty of time to get dressed up in your 80’s costume so you can enter to win for best dressed and then dance the night away! And then the big day – Saturday – Carnival Extravaganza!!! Chances to enter and win more cash throughout the day! We will end the night with the Pizza Truck and slow things down because you have an early departure on Sunday morning.
We will have plenty to eat and drink! You will be asked to join a cooking team. This may include cooking, waitstaff, or clean up. Also, you will be assigned one task during the week so look for your assignment.
Back to the supply partners / vendors – please make sure you recognize these companies when you go back to your properties. Because of their sponsorship – over $50,000 – we were able to fill the swag bags with awesome items and have events such as the Carnival! We value our partnership with each of these companies.
